Fabulous micropub that has the feel of a proper pub. Cosy, friendly and well priced real ales in fine form
Bar snacks available (eg crisps & nuts). Dog friendly. Great for cask ale, nice G&T, usually 2 choices both red or white wine, prosecco (small bottles), both bottled and cider on tap. Tea and coffee also available. Treats for dogs and a water bowl outside. Small seating area outside front. Easy access from town centre, close to bus/rail network and taxi rank. Bar staff friendly. No live music.
Friday 18th April 2025 Today, I came to this cosy and friendly micro pub This pub was full of local clentelle drinking mostly a pint of real ale. There were 4 hand pumps on today. 3 real ales and a real cider The staff were ace The beers i had /a Hawks Head pale/was in fine fettle This pub, when drinking real ale in Ormskirk, is a must to come and have a pint in

My favourite pub in Ormskirk. Excellent beer if you love real ale and IPA. It's fairly small, but that's part of its charm. The decor is great. Never gets too noisy apart from the general chat. It's a popular place, especially on weekends. It's well worth checking out if you love real ale.
